Mirrors was OK. Especially with Kiefer Sutherland. This movie was not
so good. Actually, it started out with the promise of great
expectations, but it quickly sank to boring tedium. This scenario of
the dead person getting someone to avenge them has only been done about
140,000,000,000,000,003 times, and better.

One point that also adds to the inanity of this crap is if there was a
body in the basement, everyone would be able to smell it five blocks
away. Can't these dimwits do any better than this, or are they just
relying on the dumbed-down generation to suck this up.

Since I need more lines to post this (it doesn't deserve more), I'll
add it's worse than TV shows like supernatural and ghosts. I know those
are geared for the Buffy crowd, but they are still for the brainless.
Hmm. Is this enough lines? If it is, that's all.

The plot follows the first movie; main character gets visions of people
dying every time he looks at a mirror and must solve the whys before
everyone around him dies.

I stopped watching this sequel halfway. Unlike the first movie, which
at least gave Kiefer Sutherland breathing space in between each deaths
to investigate and understand exactly what the hell was going on, there
was too much senseless gore and too many deaths at a rapid pace in
between for the main character (Max Matheson played by Nick Stahl) to
understand just WHAT and WHY all of this was happening in Mirror 2.

Stahl's acting is commendable in this movie, and that's the only
positive aspect about this film.

If you want horror involving mirrors and reflections and glass, teamed
with a solid plot and in-depth characterisation, better to stick to
Mirrors than this sequel. Honestly.

I really dug this film. It is a film that is not for the squeamish Im
telling you. The movie stars Nick Stahl who will probably best be
remembered as the second John Conner in Terminator 3, or the "Yellow
Bastard" Roark Jr. from Sin City. This is a intense little horror
thriller. That feeds on suspense and the viewers …empathy. With its
situational awkwardness and bloody gory scenes. It is under the radar
because its a straight to video release. I actually think it is a far
superior movie then the first film. A better story and less money
behind it. I truly believe this film is a hidden gem. Less can be more.
Sometimes independent films are better then… mainstream releases
because every dollar counts and that they need to be used wisely. What
is more important to a mature audience story or mainstream actors and
special effects.

Not bad for a straight to video sequel (as many of them should be done
this way) Good storyline that has star Nick Stahl after an horrific car
accident in which along with his new fiancée die, only he is brought
back, has Max (Stahl) seeing visions in the mirrors of the place where
he is a night security guard. Finding out he is actually for seeing
events that are gonna or are taking place of various co-workers
demises. He spends his time at night investigating as to why he is
seeing these things only to find out a ghost with a tragic past is
looking for answers as well. Loads more gore then its predecessor makes
this a pretty watchable sequel.
