Before watching the movie myself, I first read a couple of other
reviews and even got surprised finding this movie no. 27 of top 250
movies. however, I don't think Toy Story 3 deserves such a high rank:

The animations might not be the worst, but on the other hand they are
not quite the best as well. I don't want to spoil anyone: The plot
itself matches the level of a Disney movie: Not too complicated for
small kids to understand, but not that interesting to keep you in front
of the telly for the whole time. Nevertheless, one has to keep in mind
that Toy Story 3 is mainly for children rather than adults, so it's not
quite fair to compare it to adult-movies. It was entertaining at some
points, but at some parts I wasn't quite sure whether something was
supposed to be funny or not, so the tin-laugh would have been useful.

As I said, I don't think Toy Story deserves the rating of 8.7 as
compared to other movies, If you ask me it's "worth watching", but when
going to the pictures, I'd think twice if it's really worth the 10

Hence: 6/10

I wasn't sure about Toy Story 3 at first. It was, of course, funny and
well animated, but there was something a little depressing about the
story and I was wondering where they could go with it. But it just kept
getting better and better, and much of it was riotously funny.

It is also contains a remarkably ingenious plot. The central escape
scenes are both a take-off of the prison camp escape genre and a really
good example, with tons of clever ideas one after the other.

In spite of my early doubts, I think this is the best entry in the
series, a movie that hits the mark in every way, down to a lovely and
touching finale.

It's been 10-11 years since we saw Toy Story 2. I liked the first one.
It was well written, well animated, and well acted. It was great. But
with all sequels, what happens? They just get ridiculous. Well, that
was until I saw Toy Story 2. That proved me wrong. Creating newly
developed characters and having the toys learn that Andy is growing and
that he can't be a kid forever. So the first film laid the groundwork,
the second one just built on top of that and progressed the story
further, and for Toy Story 3, it met all expectations! It was a fun
trilogy of films!

Story: So what can I say about the story. It was brilliant. It had no
flaws whatsoever. However I can say that some complained that it was
too dramatic and dark for the children. I wouldn't say that. It was
intended for kids but this film was actually intended for us. The young
adults growing up as children after the first film was released in '95.
Andy is going to college and being an adult, hasn't played with his
toys for years. So the toys don't know what is going to become of them.
And the villain, Lotso, gets violent than the villains of the first
two. He rules the daycare, the toys accidentally went to, like a prison
and the movie pays tribute to old prison escape films like 'The Great
Escape' and 'Escape from Alcatraz.' The scenes are very humorous with
Ken and Barbie going hanky panky and lovey dovey and Buzz Lightyear
converting into his Spanish mode. 10/10

Animation: Toy Story is the first full length film to be made entirely
with CGI. Along with all of the other Pixar films, it's perfect. With
Toy Story 3, it is the same flawless animation. Pixar always animate
the characters and the environment very well. And the 3D worked great.

Music and Sounds: They are perfect. The music that was conducted and
composed is really good and fits in well with the scenes. The songs by
Randy Newman are still good. Putting in 'You Got A Friend In Me' in the
opening for everyone who has nostalgic feelings for those films, for
example. 10/10

Cast and Acting: Just like the first two films, everyone did perfectly
and they were actually having fun with this movie. I actually find it
pretty amusing that John Morris, who had been voicing Andy in the first
two as a kid, came back to reprise his role as an adult and he always
does a great job with fitting into that role. The only voice actor who
haven't returned to voice Slinky Dog is Jim Varney from all of the
Ernest films due to his death in 2000 and is instead played by Blake
Clark who sounds a lot like Jim Varney's voice of Slinky Dog from the
first two.

Tom Hanks – Woody

Tim Allen – Buzz Lightyear

Joan Cusack – Jesse

Don Rickles – Mr. Potato Head

Wallace Shawn – Rex

John Ratzenberger – Hamm

Estelle Harris – Mrs. Potato Head

Blake Clark – Slinky Dog

John Morris – Andy

Laurie Metcalf – Andy's Mom

Beatrice Miller – Molly

Javier Fernandez Pena – Spanish Buzz

Michael Keaton – Ken

Jodi Benson – Barbie

Ned Beatty – Lotso

And many others who have done a great job. 10/10

Overall: Will there be a Toy Story 4? No. This is the best way to end
the series. It is perfect as a trilogy. There is no need to extend the
story further, just leave it alone. What happens at the end of the film
is sad and heart wrenching and you will cry after the film is over. The
scene wraps it all up. Everything is done perfectly. This is one of my
favorite films of 2010. Everyone likes this film. Who doesn't? It is
the best film ever made and it will stay that way forever! 10/10
